Jewellery Repairs and restoration
Cellini has a dedicated Jewellery Repair and Restoration Workshop on the Cambridge city centre site at 4 Rose Crescent staffed by a team of silversmiths and goldsmiths, gemologists, valuers and pearl stringers, offering a complete in-house jewellery repair and restoration service. Specialists are always available to offer free advice and information
Express Service
Depending on the volume of work, an express ticket system enables many smaller jewellery repairs to be completed within a two hour period; otherwise more complex repairs will normally be completed within a 3-10 day period. The sales counter staff will be able to offer a completion time or date, as well as an estimate of cost.
Complementary Services
Cellini offers a free examination, polishing, and jewellery cleaning service, and will offer advice and information on the condition and maintenance of any item of jewellery. All estimates for repair are free and fixed for 3 months after issue.
If you are buying a Cellini ring it can generally be sized to fit, free of charge, within a 1-2 hour period. If the ring size requires to be altered at any time in the future, the service remains free of charge.
Pearl and other bead necklaces can be quickly strung to special lengths, and any chains cut to the length requested. Batteries on quartz watches can be fitted whilst the customer waits. If a watch is purchased from Cellini, all future batteries are supplied, and fitted, free of charge.
The Day Workshop operates from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday inclusive.
