The History of Garnet
Garnet has been used in jewellery since the Bronze Age, often traded along ancient routes between Europe and Asia. Known for its deep red tones, it was worn as a symbol of protection by travellers and warriors. Today, garnet reflects this long-standing sense ofstrength and connection.
Natural Origins & Characteristics
Garnet forms under a wide range of geological conditions, resulting in a group of minerals rather than a single stone type. While deep red is most familiar, garnet occurs in many colours depending on its composition. Important deposits are found in India, SriLanka, and Africa.

Garnet by Cellini
At Cellini, garnet is appreciated for its depth of colour and strong visual presence. We select stones that feel substantial and design around them to create pieces with confidence and warmth. Garnet jewellery is bold yet wearable.

Care & Craftsmanship
Garnet typically ranks 6.5–7.5 on the Mohs scale. It benefits from mindful wear and should be protected from knocks. Our goldsmiths create settings that balance security with clean, wearable design.
